1. Video “story of Fred and DataCenter” – interviews by Pratap Chatterjee, Walter Turner of KPFA and Africa Resource Center, Norma Smith of Oral History Association, and videographer Isaac Ontiveros of Creative Interventions.
2. Nation’s first Historic Gallery on “Role of Research in the Social Justice Movement through lens of DataCenter and Fred Goff” – curated by Lincoln Cushing.
3. Honoring Zoia Horn, Champion of People’s Right to Know.
4. Reconnecting and honoring the research legacies that have comprised DataCenter’s rich history.
5. Learning about the new era of Research Justice we are entering as we transfer leadership of the organization.

I was one of the first printers at the Data Center. Fred hired me after I was fired from Caterpillar Tractor for union organizing. He kindly laid me off so I could collect unemployment when I decided to get a teaching credential. I have been a high school history teacher for 28 years. I look forward to honoring Fred.
David, thank you so much for sharing your story! Yet another example of how amazing Fred is. We look forward to seeing you at the event. Cheers.
